Dracs End

The very edge of Liberportus and where it’s rapid expansion takes place.  Those coming to live Liberportus but who cannot afford to stay in a more established district (and aren’t desperate enough to stay in the Aegrotatio District) come here.
-Hamilcar Aqueduct.
-Villa of Julia Felix: Julia Felix is an entrepreneual woman who owns a grand villa that takes up an entire block in the juncture that connects Drac’s End, the Temple District, and the Merchant District. It was one of the most lavish and well furnished villa in the city until it was ruined in the earthquake of 878 that caused much damage. After the earthquake, Julia came up with a brilliant idea: instead of trying to pay for all the damages herself, she rented out her property to residents of Liberportus who may have lost their homes and transformed parts of her villa into public thermae, shops, taverns, and apartments. To promote her establishment, a complete listing of facilities and a boastful advertising statement about quality is painted on the outer walls.
These include:
“Eateries good enough for Venus.”
and
“If you are clean and neat, you’ll find a room waiting for you here. If you’re a slob, well, I blush to say it, but you are welcome as well.”
